Immigration

Biosecurity

Australia has strict border controls to protect the local environment, for more information on what you can and cannot bring to Australia visit the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry  website.

Vehicle Imports

You may bring your vehicle to Australia provided it meets the required safety standards. Check this link for Vehicle Import Guidelines.  Before shipping your vehicle you must also apply for a Permit to Import.

Trailers or motorised devices will also require a vehicle import approval prior to shipping to Australia. Failure to produce the import approval could result in re-export of the vehicle or costly delays.

Bringing Pets to Australia

Cats, dogs and some other pets may be brought to Australia provided they meet the conditions specified by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service.  Check the AQIS website for more details.

I can't remember what the 2 guys were called that brought or container on Monday, but please will you pass a message on to them and their Manager. They were both a real credit to your company. They were polite, friendly and very efficient. Even though it was getting late, they didn't rush, they took their time so as not to damage anything. People are only too quick to complain, so when praise is due, it should be given.
If our removal men in the UK had have been half as good as the guys on Monday, our move to Australia would have been less stressful. Conroys in general have been a pleasure to deal with, so many thanks to all of you. Say thanks to the guys again.
